The guidelines for reopening the sanctuary for worship are as follows:
First and foremost, if you are in a high risk category, we encourage you to continue to worship online. Your safety is our utmost concern.
If you or a family member have or have had a fever within the previous five days, please stay home.
If you have been on an airplane in the past two weeks, please do not attend.
If you are not feeling well in general, please wait until you’re healthy again.
If you know you’ve been exposed to someone with Covid-19 or who has had a positive Covid test, please do not attend.
EVERYONE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK! Masks will be provided if you do not have one. Notify us if you are medically or physically unable to wear one and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
There will be symptom checker stations at the entrances where your temperature will be checked upon arriving. If you are waiting to come in, please keep a safe distance from the person in front of you!
An usher will assist you in seating. You will enter the Sanctuary through the middle row. Pews will be cordoned off and people will be seated 8 feet apart. Your family will be able to sit together.
There will be offering boxes to drop in your offering as you are
entering or leaving.
There will be no hymnals, Bibles or other materials in the pews. There will not be a bulletin. All information will be projected on the screen.
We ask that you keep your mask on while singing. The pastor, liturgist and praise team will have theirs off while on stage or behind the pulpit, and then return to wearing them.
When the service is over, we will dismiss by rows. You will exit to the sides of the sanctuary. We encourage you to refrain from using the restroom unless absolutely necessary. There will be hand sanitizer available.
We respectfully ask you not to congregate in the narthex or outside. While we all want to hug those we love and give a warm handshake, we want everyone to be safe!
The pastor will not be shaking hands after the service for obvious safety reasons.
The nursery will not be open nor will there be any children’s church, Sunday school or communion to start.
Services will be streamed online via Facebook Live or click the button below so those at home can still be a part of the service.
We want your worship experience to be as enjoyable and safe as possible!
